With each Thanksgiving season, we especially pause to reflect on the goodness and faithful of God to us, His people. This Thanksgiving, we wanted to share some of the praises of gratitude from Veritas faculty and staff with you.
"I'm thankful to be at Veritas because..."
It’s a wonderful community full of love for the Lord and all His children.
I love to see students grow in their faith! You can see God’s work here!
Living and working every day with a common, godly purpose, and mission is both special and rare.
The fellowship with brothers and sisters in Kingdom purposes.
It has provided a place where my kids are happy to go to school and where they get to continue to learn about God and His word through everyday lessons
It is a place where you see the fruit of the Spirit at work. Students, faculty, and staff are so joyful and kind.
The administrators, teachers and parents all can agree that carefully reading, discussing and writing about great books (the storehouses of humanity’s accumulated wisdom) are the best means of teaching students to learn and think for themselves. Also, instilling in students the values and virtues of the Western Civilization they have the privilege to inherit and the duty to defend.
I love to hear the sweet prayers and encouraging words all around me.

Loving employees, devoted to teaching and living out God’s word
Art! I love walking the halls and seeing all the student work. It shows me the creativity and the beauty that God has placed in our students.
The students' study and appreciation of nature.
The conversations that are being held each day---here is grace and kindness in the hallways.
The way children are growing not only in academics but also in shaping their character habits to reflect becoming more like Jesus.
Wednesday chapel messages and small group discussions.
Seeing the pure joy of the students when they get to do things school-wide on House Color Days.

Family, health and protection! After hurricane Helene, it truly showed me that the most important thing is our families and prioritizing Christ in all things!
The work of the Holy Spirit in our neighborhood and larger community.
The wonderful blessing of being able to join the VCA community this year.
A community who selflessly served one another during Hurricane Helene and the power of prayer in the midst of trials!
Power, cell phone connection, clean drinking water for the community.
