Congratulations David Allen!

David Allen is a 2008 graduate from Veritas.  David recently graduated from UNC Asheville with a degree in Multimedia Arts and Sciences. He has accepted a position with UNC Asheville as a Project Manager with the Communications and Marketing Department.


Sarah Morris is back in the classroom!

Sarah Morris is a 2008 graduate from Veritas.  Sarah is teaching High School English with the Teach for America program at Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery Alabama.  She teaches 160 Ninth Graders every day:)


Catalin "Bobo" Bacui Featured in Clemson Magazine  

2008 VCA graduate and former World for Christ student, Catalin “Bobo” Baciu was featured in the February issue of Clemson’s IPTAY Orange: The Experience the magazine. Bobo graduated from Clemson in May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. The 7’2” Baciu, from Cluj, Romania, was a fan favorite these past four years at Clemson basketball games. We are so proud of you, Bobo, for all you have been able to do, and as the article says, “you are a true renaissance man!”

A True Veritas Couple

Peter Councell (Class of 2006) and Allie Marie Price (Class of 2011) were engaged this past spring and plan to marry in April 2013.  Peter and Allie Marie both attended Veritas at the same time, but it wasn’t until five years later that they met for the first time.  Peter proposed to Allie Marie in Battery Park in Downtown Asheville with many family and friends in attendance.    The couple plan to live in Black Mountain.  Congratulations Allie Marie and Peter!


Wedding News

Kathleen Moore (Class of 2006) and Andrew Acker were married on July 28, 2012.  After graduating from Veritas, Kathleen moved to Texas where she attended the University of Dallas.  Andrew was a Chemistry and Math double major at U.D.  Andrew and Kathleen will be moving to College Station for Andrew to attend graduate school for Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M.  Kathleen will teach Latin and American Literature at St. Joseph's Catholic School.  We wish Andrew and Kathleen many happy years together!
